Taking inspiration from the surrounding landscape, the Pebbles are intentions molded into a sculptural object that conveys a will to connect modern architecture with its natural surroundings. Each bench is carefully placed to mirror how nature composes its stones on the river bed. Made out of laminated wood, each was formed as if it was slowly shaped by time using flowing natural elements like water and air. The subtle flatness of the top surface creates comfort for seating, while the composition of the bench in the lobby area invites people to socialize or contemplate.
